The art of being self-aware and how it affects crucial decision-making process

Ollie Wood
Head of Talent @ Golden Gate Ventures
Class Format

An interactive session on a selected topic. There will be a short presentation followed by an open discussion to share ideas and opinions.

Understanding yourself is absolutely critical when working out who you are, how far you have come, what you're good at, what you're crap at and how to decide what to do next. Most people either do not equip themselves with the ability to self assess or even if they do, they don't practise it regularly enough. Ollie will give you a simple but systematic approach so you can ask yourself the right questions and make clearer decisions.

Key takeaways

1. Understand why a lack of self-awareness is obvious to the observer

2. Curate a systematic approach to work on self-awareness over time

3. Learn how to apply your self-awareness to important decisions in personal & professional settings
