Mounir Kabbara holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and Master's of Engineering Design in Sustainable Infrastructure, with 3 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment. He is a Senior Consultant at PwC’s Cities and Local Government Sector advisory practice and the founder of Climatick, a startup focused on catalyzing climate change solutions. Formerly, he is the Senior Sustainability Engineer for SEE Nexus, a company that merges and restructures the departments and resources behind the development of The Sustainable City. Mounir had worked on City Development & Operations at Emaar Economic City from 2015-2018 and provided support in projects related to City Management, Transportation and Utilities.
Some of his volunteer experiences include being the Project Officer for Local Pathways Fellowship initiative of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, as an Ambassador at Global Youth Climate Network, the Global Shaper at Dubai hub and Former Curator of Jeddah Hub.
