About this session
The basic premise on which the world of technology works it that it needs human attention to thrive – the more eyeballs an app, platform or device gets, the more money big tech makes. What does this mean for our mental, emotional and relational well-being though? This workshop will explore why it is so hard to control where our attention goes and why that is the single most important thing we each must master if we need to remain sane in this digital age.
You will gain a greater understanding of:
1. Building conscious awareness of daily tech use
2. Maintaining quality of life by regulating tech use
3. Tools from the emotional intelligence field, mindfulness practices and positive psychology practices to master digital wellness
