People don’t always behave the way we expect them to. A lot of decision making by consumers happens due to automatic processes run by the brain and not due to logic. Understanding the underlying psychology behind decisions can help us make better products and create more effective marketing campaigns.

In this workshop, we will explore the basics of understanding human behaviour through a lens of psychology and learn how this can be used in marketing in businesses.

About the class host

Preeti Kotamarthi is a Behavoural Scientist at Grab, the leading ride-hailing and mobile payments app in South East Asia. She completed her Masters in Behavioral Science from London School of Economics and her MBA from FMS Delhi. She works with startups to help understand consumer behaviour and design better products and better communication. Interestingly, she also has co-founded a startup within the Mahindra Group.

With more than 5 years of experience in the consumer products space, she always finds herself intrigued by how consumers think!
