Founder at Convict Fitness
Joe grew up in a rough neighbourhood in Sydney and was expelled from every school that he attended. Joe was involved in organised crime from an early age and by the time he was 21, Joe was sentenced to 13 years in prison for directing a criminal enterprise. During his sentence Joe met a billionaire accountant cellmate who became his first positive mentor who challenged his perception and attitudinal outlook on life. Not only did he learn accounting every day but taught him the value of education and self-worth.
Joe is now the director and founder of a social enterprise with the mission to reduce the rates of recidivism in Australia and to coach and mentor former inmates to become leaders and outstanding members of society.
