NewCampus Sessions

What learning formats do you offer?

Our learning formats include:

  • Workshops: Accelerate your career and business with the most practical business, technology and leadership skills needed in modern workplaces.
  • Power Sessions: Fortnightly series of career and personal growth discussions with experienced professionals from various industries.
  • Cuppa Club: A tool to facilitate personalised introductions for 1-on-1 catchups with compatible connections, based on your preferences and goals.
Where are classes usually held?

For the foreseeable future, all our classes and events are held online to safeguard our community. Classes are held over Zoom and links will be sent to you before the respective sessions.

What do NewCampus classes look like?

Here's a summary of what to expect when you're at a class.

  • Each class has no more than 15 people
  • Everyone include the class host and your fellow colearners will dial in virtually through Zoom
  • We encourage back-and-forth discussions to keep you on your toes
  • Toggle on your video to facilitate personable interactions with your host and fellow colearners
  • Dress smart casually, the same as you would in an offline class or event

Do you share session class recordings and slides?

We currently do not share recordings of our sessions and workshop slides.

To enjoy our learning experience, please join our live and interactive workshops.

Pricing and Payment

How much does a membership cost?

We have several memberships for different types of learners with diverse goals and aspirations. A membership will give you access to our exclusive events and community gatherings.

What happens when my membership payment is delayed?

There are certain circumstances where our payment provider, Stripe, is unable to charge your account when your billing cycle refreshes.

For example, insufficient funds in your account can cause this error.

When that happens, you will receive a notification from Stripe. Payment should be processed promptly to retain your membership account.

A discretionary $10 penalty fee will be imposed when this occurs.

How long does it take for a refund to be processed?

In the event that a refund has been granted, please allow 5-10 working days for the amount to be processed and returned to your account.

Membership

Can I freeze my membership?

As of March 2021, we no longer allow pausing of memberships. If you'd like to discontinue your membership, you can consider cancelling it and re-signing up at a time that works for you.

Do note that you cannot sign up to become a Lite Member if you have been a member or paid user with us before.

How do I cancel my membership?

Please follow these steps to cancel your membership with us:

Step 1

To proceed with your cancellation, please fill up this exit form.

Upon completion, your membership will be cancelled within 2 working days, and your credit card will no longer be charged.

Step 2

We'll appreciate if you could take 10 minutes to have a chat with us before you go, please find a time that suits you here. We'll love to learn about what we could have done better.

Alternatively, you can write in to us at hello@newcampus.co and we can guide you with the next steps.

For founding members, do note that when you cancel your subscription, you will not be able to get back your original founding members pricing as it has been discontinued.

Bookings and Cancellations

What happens when I'm late for class?

Classes will start promptly at the time stipulated.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the class had started, you will not be allowed to join in order to maintain the quality of the class and ensure minimal disruption for the rest of the colearners.

You will also be penalised for no show.

I can no longer make it to class, how do I cancel my booking?

If you are unable to attend a class that you have booked, you can log onto your account and cancel your booking up to 8 hours in advance, with no penalty.

If you want to cancel your booking less than 8 hours in advance, you will not be permitted to do so through your account. Instead, you can let us know by dropping us a note via the chatbox on the bottom right hand page of this page.

What happens when I don't show up for a class I have booked?

We understand that last minute changes can happen. You'll be sent an email for your first no-show with any penalty fees waived.

During a subsequent no-show,

Monthly Member: A penalty fee of S$10 may be charged to your account.

Lite Member: Your membership will be revoked.

Community

Can I invite someone to attend a class with me?

Of course! We love meeting new people.

As a member, we encourage you to to bring a friend or colleague for the class you attend.

To do this, you can reach out to us at hello@newcampus.co and let us know which class your friend would like to attend with you. You will need to provide us with their name and email address so that we can send them relevant emails.

Referral

I would like to refer NewCampus to my friends and colleagues. How best should I go about this?

We love to hear that! You can either write in to us at hello@newcampus.co with their details (name, email, LinkedIn) and we'll reach out to them with instructions.

Or you may visit this page and fill out the form with the names and emails of the people you would like to refer to us.

Enterprise

How can I get my employer / HR to sponsor my membership?

Most organisations are actually happy to support employees in learning initiatives, as long as you make that ask and they can see how it benefits your work. I'm sure they'll be impressed with your initiative too!
